Denim skirt outfit
I put together a post regarding the newest addition to my closet; the denim miniskirt. Denim enlivens memories of the 70s fashion era since 2015 the denim trend is making its way back not only on runways but on the likes of best dressed celebrities as Beyonce, Kate Moss, Emma Roberts and Chrissy Teigan. Who would have thought denim would make a comeback and look stylish in more ways than one?! I got on the denim bandwagon last year and can promise you there are stylish ways one can rock the this 70s staple without looking like you stepped out of an episode of save by the bell.
This forever21 denim mini skirt with a large modern exposed zipper emblems the perfect details to revamped the denim. I would recommend investing in one for the summer and it would make a great fall piece when paired with Knee high boots. This skirt can be easily dressed up or down. As you can see my look today is rather dressed up but for a casual daytime look this would pair up well with a pair of white Adidas or converse sneakers tucked over a plain V neck white T shirt. The possibilities of styling this skirt are truly endless. I had a hard time deciding which top to shoot with me because it seemed like everything looked so cute with this skirt! Feeling even more brave? Opt for a fitted denim button down for a denim on denim look!
Paired with this outfit is my polka dot bell sleeve wrap top. I purchased it from fashionnova but found a similar one on amazon which I have attached at the bottom of post. For a pop of color I accessorized with my red Guess Croc embossed satchel and , metal capped pink pumps from Charlotte Russ and silver band necklace to edge up my statement.
