How to use Social Media to find your dream customer

When the opportunity arose to do a sponsored post about Russel Brunson’s Traffic secrets; being a blogger I knew it was it would benefit me as a blogger.

The past month I have learned so many tactics on growing my audience through his book. Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers. I started my blog three years ago. I am very passionate about fashion which is the reason I started my blog.  After living in New York City for years and working in the fashion industry; I decided to move to Washington, DC.  With a scarcity of opportunities for fashion jobs in DC, the idea of my fashion blog emerged in 2017.

With little experience in marketing strategies or a plan to define my audience; I started posting my outfit inspirations and traveling photos on social media.  subsequently, my following grew up to a staggering 10k.  Though my following seemed like a success, I had no long term strategy. Posting content and hoping something sticks is not the best stragtefy for longterm success. You need to know who your target audience is inorder to monetize and grow.

Who are you trying to help? It’s important to identify your audience and post content on social media that resonates with them.  Casting a broad net will only attract lead to temporary engagement. In this book, I  learned how to  find my tribe!

The past month I followed the workbook and tactics on growing my audience his book; Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers. It was a game-changer for my business. My twitter had been stagnant but I saw a tremendous improvement in my reach and engagement.

I participated in a 30-day challenge posting every single day following guidelines in his book. Some of the posts included strategic questions to encourage our followers to be engaged and provid valuelable feedback.

I have been implementing the strategies in the book; The Underground Playbook for Growing Your Company Online and Expert Secrets: Find Your Message, Build a Tribe and Change the World by best-selling author Russell Brunson.

Russel Brunson  CEO of a $100M software company called Click Funnels, has a following of over a million entrepreneurs, and his book has sold hundreds of copies making him the best-selling author. Here are some of the key tactics to find your ideal customer in Russel Brunson ‘s book and to create your community. Such tips can support someone who wants to start a blog or an online service.

1.Understand your history and goal

Learning where you come from is very important. Connect with your authentic self and motivation behind your business.  What inspired you to begin? Understand your target audience and channel your inner passion for blogging only then you can build an empire of the desired target audience.

2. Find your Dream 100 on this platform

Make a list of 100 places where your dream audience is more likely to be. What are their hobbies and sites they’re likely to frequent? It is crucial that you know every aspect of who you’re creating content for. What issues are they dealing with that your content may provide solution for?

3. Identify the publishing strategy and create your publishing plan

Once you have a clear vision of your ideal customer, you then development a pushing strategy and plan your content. I cant tell you how many times I did not do my homework and saw little engagement on my blog post. If you provide content that resonated, you will gain more traffic and repeat audience.  Utilize different social media platforms but dont spread yourself too thin.
